Years after escaping the Borderland, Ryohei Arisu has built a new life with Yuzuha and works as a school counselor. Racing to be with Yuzuha for the birth of their first child, he suddenly finds himself back in an abandoned Shibuya and realizes the Borderland has pulled him in again. This time Arisu has far more waiting for him in the real world, and surviving another round of games means confronting the place he thought he had finally left behind.
