If it's on-hand with us, we ship every Monday and Thursday, so depending on your location, it should arrive a week after it's been shipped.
If it's a reservation, books arrive to the Philippines from the US in less than a week but has clearance formalities at Customs that could take a week (or worse, a month or two). So a safe estimate is a month and a half after it's been confirmed that it's incoming. Sometimes we get very small shipments and those arrive super quick, but for large shipments, it takes a while.
While we take pride over anything else, speed is something we cannot guarantee.
Most of the time, yes with full refund. But when you ordered it and it's already incoming, that's still a yes, but with no refund.
We'll be honest here: there's a half chance you'll receive it imperfectly.
Sometimes, books arrive to us already imperfect; when we ship imperfect books, we add a note to our packing emails (sent before it's been shipped out) including the amount of compensation which is in Bonbons. Additionally, our packaging is mostly paper.
Every peso spent on a book is equivalent to one Bonbon point. The points can be used in exchange of discounts, free shipping, or a free book.
We're a manga bookstore based in Cavite, Philippines. A National Book Development Board stakeholder, an accredited bookseller and book importer, and manga fans ourselves.
We tried many things before, but we have strong stances we couldn't compromise on such as having the fairest price on books using the most proper methods of distribution, using less plastic on packaging, planting trees when purchasing books, introducing you to as many physical books as possible, and helping you on your quest to support the creators. There are also quite a lot of setbacks out of our control that keep us from moving forward such as clearance delays, reprint backlogs, and... life in general.
Unfortunately, it doesn't equate to a profitable business model that it seems like we're running a library falling behind—and we don't mind. We're not very ambitious to be the best either. Books are here for you to explore worlds and despite we cannot promise 100% satisfaction, we're proud of becoming a bridge for your support towards your favorite books. And it's enough for us to be here ;)
