Before the Amrita investigation brings their paths together, the people at the center of Kinryo Rock are already living within a Tokyo that has only recently begun allowing vampires to exist openly beside humans. Moonage Daydream presents three short stories that introduce these characters, the six sanctioned districts, and the uneasy rules governing coexistence. The prequel establishes the personal histories and tensions that will later collide in Code Amrita without requiring the main story to have begun yet.
