Office worker Akito is carried into a hidden red-light district that serves only yokai, a world he never knew existed. There he meets Suiren, a black-winged tengu who works in one of the district’s establishments. Their relationship begins within a commercial arrangement, but repeated encounters reveal lives and vulnerabilities that do not fit the roles of customer and worker. Against the supernatural bustle of the district, Akito and Suiren must decide whether the connection developing between them can exist on more equal terms outside the transaction that brought them together.
