Unwilling to stay with her husband, Winter Blooming, former princess Violet departed for the faraway town of Kiron, where she would be free from his influence. Though her new house is run-down and her neighbors are nosy, Violet is able to make a modest living, along with a few new friends. But before long, Winter appears in her new life, brandishing his wealth just as he did before.
