Former noblewoman Lysithea Del Arman is on the run for her life, but has been waylaid at an abandoned mansion with her broker, Taron Cardis. Thanks to a raging snowstorm, she’s narrowly missed her opportunity to leave the country by boat and must now wait until spring. But at least with Taron, Lysithea feels safe.
