Naerim is a withdrawn high school student, the daughter of a shaman, and an easy target for classmates who bully her. Isolated at school and distant from her mother, she has little reason to trust anyone until Fetechou, an ancient vampire, unexpectedly enters her life. He openly wants her blood, but he also becomes the first person in a long time to stand beside her. Their strange arrangement gradually gives Naerim the confidence to face the people and fears that have kept her alone.
