Having resolved the tanuki conflict, Katarina is finally accepted into the Bureau of Magic—but her new department is notoriously referred to as the least desirable placement, and it’s chock-full of bona fide weirdos! If that weren’t enough, she’s still puzzling over the mysterious letter she received detailing the events of Fortune Lover II, which could only have been written by someone in her past life. Could this mysterious person be someone she’s seen before? Thankfully, the letter gives Katarina ample information to avoid triggering new romance flags at work, but when she accidentally discovers a coworker’s secret, all bets are off!
