Luca, Jira, and Chloe have barely begun their studies at Cogniel Academy of Dracology when they and their fellow trainee vets are called upon to help with an emergency. A train carrying both human and non-human passengers has derailed, and the young trainees must triage dozens of wounded fire dragons—any of which could explode at any moment.
