A letter threatening a “dismemberment” is delivered to Seiji and Shiroshi, challenging them to visit a remote island in the southern seas. The pair sets out to investigate―and what awaits them is a towering Italian baroque mansion housing a strange dollmaker and his surreally beautiful “living doll.” To Seiji’s surprise, they’re joined by Detective Odoro and a mysterious boy claiming to be Shiroshi’s younger brother! With a typhoon drawing near, what secrets will be unveiled on the island, and what tragedies will be foretold…?
