Too exhausted—and too tipsy—to realize she’s confiding in one of her own subordinates, Reina lets her guard down completely. Listening in silence, Kenichi makes a quiet promise to support her—not as an employee, or an inferior, but simply as himself. As their secret nighttime meetings continue, a gently awkward, slightly improper romance begins to take shape—one where job titles fade away, and two lonely adults find comfort in honesty after hours.
