After Maki accepts Ichika's proposal, their platonic arrangement is off to a good start. But while Maki can finally indulge in some quality time with virtual boyfriend Allen-kun, she finds her thoughts wandering more and more to Ichika. It all comes to a head with a steamy night on the balcony, complete with a kiss. He departs for a business trip the next day, leaving Maki to process what just happened on her own. When he returns a few days later, he's his usual self, and he's behaving like nothing's changed between them. Maki is doubly confused when he mentions offhand that she's forgotten something important about their past...
