A player falls asleep after struggling through the notoriously difficult horror game The Murderer of Pflatzgraff Manor and wakes inside it as Hilda, a maid serving Adrian, the game’s devil-reincarnated killer. Knowing exactly how lethal the story is supposed to become, Hilda uses her knowledge of the game to keep herself useful, unnoticed, and alive.
