Hugo has lived and died six times, each life ending in betrayal and murder at the hands of his own family. In his seventh life he chooses revenge and offers himself as groom to the feared daughter of a powerful archduke, hoping the alliance will give him the strength to break the cycle—or at least an ending different from the ones he already remembers.
