Introverted university student Kakero meets Koharu on an April night in Tokyo and is drawn to her warmth and determination. Koharu is blind, yet pursues school, friendships, and a dream of launching fireworks without treating her disability as a reason to stop. Spending time with her challenges Kakero’s own habit of withdrawing from life and gives both a reason to imagine a future neither expected.
