After a catastrophic train accident, the souls of the dead passengers find themselves in a strange space between life and death. Met by a pair of maiden messengers from the beyond, the passengers are each to be judged for their life’s actions, allowing them to ascend back to the human world or be cast into the unending shadows of the depths below.

In this bizarre liminal world, the passengers find themselves standing trial, sued by those they have wronged in life. They must face their accusers and clear their name, or be forever damned!
