Adventuring dungeons produce treasure and glory, but someone still has to recover the people who do not survive them. Nemu works as a corpse bearer, entering the same dangerous places that killed other explorers to retrieve their remains. She prefers the solitary job until injured adventurer Garensis begins following her while searching for his sister, forcing Nemu to share both the risks of her profession and the truths she usually keeps to herself.
