Koki is a convenience-store clerk in his thirties who has been drifting through a life with little to look forward to. After surviving a violent encounter, he sees a white-winged angel—and is startled to find the same mysterious visitor waiting in his room when he returns home. The angel has no memory and cannot fly, so Koki reluctantly lets him stay, beginning an unusual shared life that slowly draws Koki back toward the world.
