At school, Wada appears to be a quiet, refined girl while Yamamoto has the reputation of an intimidating loner. After classes, however, the two meet at the shopping-mall food court and reveal the hobbies and frustrations they hide from everyone else: games, internet personalities, urban legends, and whatever happened that day. Their friendship is built less on dramatic events than on the daily ritual of sitting down together and talking without having to maintain their public images.
