College student Yu Hao is already struggling with loneliness when a false accusation pushes his waking life further into despair. He then begins entering a dangerous dreamscape where a faceless general guides him through battles that awaken courage he cannot access while awake. As unexpected allies also appear in his real life, Yu Hao starts suspecting that the people helping him by day may be connected to the mysterious figures he meets in dreams.
