High school third-year Yuzuru Shino impulsively asks out first-year Toji Seryo, who has a peculiar reputation: each Monday he dates the first person who asks him and ends the relationship one week later. Their seven-day experiment begins casually, but genuine attraction arrives before the deadline. As the next Monday approaches, both boys have to decide whether a rule designed to keep romance temporary can survive feelings neither expected to develop.
