Ten wo Iru
Kanzaemon Hoshino is the third son of an impoverished samurai family in Edo-period Japan, a position that leaves little room for grand ambitions. Secretly, he dreams of becoming the greatest archer in the Toshiya, a famous long-distance archery competition. A chance display of courage brings him to the attention of master archer Nagaya, who sees exceptional potential where higher-born students see only an untrained outsider.
