In a world where werewolves, witches, and other fairy-tale monsters are real, the Hunters Guild sells protection to communities able to afford its steep price. When a werewolf threatens an isolated village, young Velou wants to defend his neighbors but lacks the skill to do it alone. The mayor spends nearly everything to hire the Guild, only for its representative to arrive in the form of Grimm, a small girl in a red hood. Velou’s doubts about her lead him directly into the hidden profession of hunting monsters.
