Fifteen-year-old Alfred Sainoji is being raised under strict expectations as heir to a prestigious family and has little room to live like an ordinary teenager. His closest source of comfort is Magly, the composed maid who understands him better than most of the adults around him. Alfred eventually discovers that Magly is hiding a supernatural secret: she is a vampire, turning the one dependable relationship in his carefully controlled household into something far stranger than he imagined.
