Shibugaya was once a lively city district until dangerous rabbit-like creatures drove people from the streets and established themselves underground. Wolf girl Izuko enters the abandoned area with her bunny-eared companion rather than avoiding it. Their descent into the hidden tunnels begins an investigation of what the creatures are, what happened to the city, and why these two girls are willing to confront a threat everyone else fled.
