Humanity is losing ground to mysterious beings called Pillars, whose presence turns living regions into barren wasteland. The main defense against them is a group of Valkyrie pilots chosen by Odin and granted divine aircraft for the fight. On the struggling European front, Rusalka becomes one of those pilots and takes responsibility for reclaiming the skies despite the cost of a war that has already pushed civilization close to collapse.
