When Isahaya Ichi was in school, her best friend, Edo Enami, suddenly disappeared. To track her down, Ichi asked former classmate Masaki Makuhito for help. Eventually, the two discover that Enami is in the hospital, but with no way to get inside, Ichi turns to Adzuru Taro, one of the people responsible for Enami’s disappearance. Taro is entirely different from his student days, having become a politician who campaigns for gender equality. Can Ichi help her friend in time, even as the school's many mysteries continue to come to light?
