Akiha shares his body with a fox spirit that sometimes gives him ears and a tail when his emotions run high. After kindhearted Yukuri helps him during an uncomfortable encounter, both Akiha and the spirit become attached to him, leaving Akiha increasingly jealous of the supernatural presence that seems able to express affection more freely than he can.
