Poor health forces prickly orchestra conductor Kiri to take leave and return to his rural hometown. On his first night back, local grocer Osamu finds him in danger from the cold and brings him to safety. Osamu has admired Kiri’s work for years, and the unexpected caretaking begins softening a man who expected only isolation and recovery.
