Uta, who has recently come out as gay, has lived with seemingly straight Ryo for more than a year in a relationship that looks domestic but remains impossible to define. As their lease renewal approaches, Uta begins questioning why they continue sharing a life like partners when neither man is willing to say what the relationship actually is or what he wants it to become.
