Ryugasaki is a lizard girl whose reptilian biology includes specialized eyes, hands, tongue, and regular skin shedding. Classmate Yugami, an enthusiastic reptile devotee, becomes fascinated by those traits and pays attention to her in ways that initially feel more like scientific observation than romance. Ryugasaki wants him to recognize the person beyond the anatomy, while Yugami slowly learns that genuine affection requires more than appreciating what makes her physically unusual.
