When a trip to the mountains turns into an encounter with some strange, human-eating creature, Maru finds himself recruited into the “Special Civil Service.” His lucky break, right? Wrong! Everything is a mess―this secret task force is threatening the very safety he longed for, the monsters they fight are weirdly drawn to him, and the people on his team are total nutjobs!
