Photojournalist Tatsumi Saiga infiltrates an exclusive underground club in near-future Tokyo and discovers Kagura, a fifteen-year-old girl being controlled by the people who run it. Contact with Kagura awakens a supernatural ability in Saiga that makes the act of taking a photograph lethally dangerous. Trying to get Kagura away from the organization turns the journalist into a target and pulls both into the corrupt world hidden beneath the city’s wealth and spectacle.
