Middle schooler Toshihiko Ota is mocked for having very little body hair, while swim-club member Ayako Goto is deeply self-conscious about having more than she wants. When Ota accidentally discovers her struggling with the issue before competition, Goto asks for his help. Their awkward arrangement becomes a private friendship about body image, trust, and learning that neither of them should have to treat an ordinary physical trait as a source of shame.
