Twenty years after a wormhole opens access to a resource-rich alien planet, security specialist Yugi Oishi leads a small corporate military team far from their base. An SOS flare draws them into an abandoned mine where a stranded excavation crew is being hunted by dangerous native creatures. With their route back cut off, Yugi must guide both groups through the underground complex toward the only vehicle that can reach safety while evidence mounts that the monsters are not the only threat around them.
