Yua once spent time with classmate Chi, a withdrawn girl from a troubled home, but the two have grown apart as Chi increasingly stops attending school. When Chi suddenly reappears, Yua’s classmate Koudai decides they should try to help her and asks Yua to reconnect. Their well-intentioned involvement reveals that Chi’s situation is far more complicated than they assumed and that a desire to “save” someone can hide motives and dangers of its own.
