Pretty Angel NirBrave once existed only as the heroine of an old magical-girl television series. A malfunction involving an anime director’s computer somehow brings her out of the screen and into the real world, where transformation sequences and heroic catchphrases do little to solve rent, work, or social problems. The former fictional heroine has to learn how ordinary life functions when there is no scripted villain to defeat and no episode ending waiting to reset everything.
