Dennis is expelled from the elite Silverwing Battalion despite being one of its most capable members and decides to stop adventuring entirely. He follows the profession he actually loves—cooking—and opens a restaurant with Atelier, a young girl who has also been cast out from her home. Their new business becomes a haven for adventurers with difficult lives, and Dennis repeatedly discovers that feeding customers is often only the first step toward helping them solve the problems they carry through the door.
