While wandering through Okinawa and sleeping rough, Okitsu takes shelter from a typhoon at the home of novelist Ibu. His host claims he can read other people’s minds and seems immediately interested in the guarded stranger he has taken in. Okitsu is unsure whether Ibu’s ability is real, a trick, or a delusion, but the unsettling claim begins drawing out the trauma and claustrophobia Okitsu has tried to keep buried. Their strange encounter develops into a romantic mystery about trust, memory, and whether either man is telling the full truth.
