In real life, Hilda was a hardcore gamer and knew how to take advantage of a game’s mechanics. But The Murderer of Pfaltzgraff Manor was review-bombed for a reason—the game’s difficulty is way off the charts. Every time Hilda thinks she’s figured out how the game works, it throws her a curveball. Not good when a “game over” screen could result in her actual death!
When Adrian’s mysterious doctor arrives, it sets in motion a chain of events even Hilda can’t outrun. Could the game’s faulty affinity system be the key to her survival?
