An amnesiac Earthling nicknamed Bub awakens in outer space and learns that his home planet has been destroyed and he may be the last human left. Traveling across strange worlds and alternate universes, he searches for the truth about Earth, his missing past, and whether humanity has any future at all among the alien civilizations he encounters.
