After attending a friend’s wedding, autobiographical manga artist Nagata Kabi realizes she wants a committed relationship and a future built with someone else. She has little dating experience and no partner, so she begins experimenting with unfamiliar ways of meeting people, from dating apps to deliberately imagining what marriage might look like. The memoir follows her attempt to understand love as something she wants to pursue rather than only analyze from a distance.
