High schooler Akane is assigned by the newspaper club to investigate local places rumored to be haunted and invites new transfer student Fujino to join her. Their nighttime walks through stairways, alleys, and unfamiliar corners of town usually uncover simple truths behind frightening stories. Solving small mysteries becomes a way for the two girls to learn the town and grow closer to each other.
