Arika is obsessed with vampire fiction and expects real vampires to match the seductive, dangerous creatures she has studied. Meeting Divo should fulfill that fantasy, but the actual vampire is far less competent and mysterious than she imagined. Disappointed but fascinated, Arika decides to use her extensive lore knowledge to educate Divo in how a proper vampire is supposed to behave, turning supernatural romance into an ongoing lesson in expectation versus reality.
