Noss and her adopted daughter Zakuro are vampires living in Shadowsville, a supernatural town between the human world and the next. Their life is far more domestic than frightening: they drink blood from convenient containers, shop for ways to avoid sunlight, and spend time with an assortment of monster neighbors. The comedy follows an unconventional mother and daughter treating supernatural problems as ordinary family life.
