Naguru once led a gang and relied on fighting to protect the people he cared about, even as those same people feared his dangerous lifestyle would eventually destroy him. Meeting Hirao gives Naguru a reason to choose a different future. Their relationship grows into a family, and the former gang leader becomes a father raising young Towa with the man whose love helped him imagine a life beyond violence.
