Tamaki Hasegawa needs a job badly, but she misses an important interview when she stops to help a man being attacked. The stranger turns out to be Kagetora Sugo, the prime minister’s nephew, who responds by offering Tamaki work as his bodyguard. Thrown into security work she never expected, Tamaki soon learns that Kagetora has another reason for choosing her—and that their paths crossed before she remembers.
