In 2199, relentless bombardment by the alien Gamilans has left Earth nearly uninhabitable and humanity close to extinction. The planet’s last hope is the rebuilt Space Battleship Yamato, equipped for faster-than-light travel and sent across the galaxy to the distant world of Iscandar.
