Somewhere between past and future, an airship called the Tomeship crosses the clouds carrying used books and fresh coffee to people marked by a mysterious Gearform scar. The volume combines illustrated worldbuilding, manga-like storytelling, and design work to explore this steampunk setting rather than presenting one continuous conventional plot. Its recurring imagery follows travelers, machinery, books, and the dreamlike places connected by the ship.
