Is there a physical store?

No and there are no plans of it at the moment. We, however, are closed every weekend. No operations/delivery/support.

Are books in English?

Yes. For Japanese copies, you may order here and the tutorial is on TikTok.

How much?

You may check each product on our catalog to check their price, availability, and description.

Are there sale events?

All sales are announced on our Twitter. All backorder books are 5% off by default while all on-hand books are exempt from any sale or discounts.

Is Tankobonbon on Shopee?

We are but ONLY for CDJapan extras. Anything else, we're operating here.We do not answer inquiries there.

Is there a mobile app?

Development is in process but currently postponed to further enhance the site beforehand. Nevertheless, the site's mobile view is smooth to use.

Terms to Know

What are availability statuses?

You may check our website's catalog for the availability of books.

🔸 On-hand: The book is in stock with us and ready to be shipped out to you.

🔸 Backorder: The book is already released but we do not have a stock, however, we can reserve a copy for you. Not all books have this option, but if it does, it has a "Reserve" button. Books arrive depending on when the publisher reprints them and ships them out to us. It could vary from weeks to months.

🔸 Pre-order: The book is NOT yet released. It could be released next month or next year. You may reserve your copy in advance so that when the release date comes, it will be kept for you by "Reserving" them.

🔸 Sold Out: Either the book is incoming and we advise you to wait for it to arrive so you could buy its on-hand copy, or it's waiting for reprints and backorder is not possible, or it's totally out of print. Either way, it cannot be purchased.

What's the status of my order?

This is found on the right/bottom of your account page:

🔸 To ship x - The order is ready to be booked for shipment

🔸 Check if acquired - We're checking if we have an item in the order

🔸 Shipped, With a Backorder - A part of the order was shipped while the rest are waiting for stocks

🔸 (Just) Shipped - The order was shipped to you

🔸 (Just) Shipped via COD - The order was shipped via COD 🔸 Retail Outlet - Payment method used is via retail outlet

🔸 Voided/Refunded payment status and Blank stock status - Order is canceled

🔸 Blank - The order is awaiting stocks. All paid orders are automatically reserved and backordered for you.

Shipping Information

How much is the shipping fee?

It varies but you may check the amount on your cart or upon checkout. Our shipping fee includes the courier fee and packaging fee.

What are the shipping couriers?

GoGo Xpress is our recommendation, but they have limited scope. Check if they deliver to your area under "Delivery Areas" here before booking for COD.

We also ship via J&T but only for non-COD orders.

We are disabling JRS and LBC shipping due to the low amounts of orders selecting these couriers (and they're far from us).

Why is my order not shipped yet?

Your order could have a backorder item. Which means that it is not in stock from us but we've notified the publisher to send us a copy for you. The waiting time might take months depending on how fast the publisher fulfills our orders.

If your order is on-hand our shipping schedule is as follows:
- Ordered Wed-Sat ships Monday
- Ordered Sun-Tue ships Thursday

What shipping methods are available?

J&T Express and GoGo Xpress (please make sure they cater to your area). JRS Express and LBC is also possible BUT will take longer since there is a minimum amount of parcels needed to be met to be eligible for pick-up.

Do you ship internationally?

Nope. Not at the moment.

How long will it take to get my package?

All on-hand orders are dispatched every Monday and Thursday and depending on where you are, it could take 2-5 business days for your parcel to reach you.

Can I have my order shipped early?

Yes. If you haven't ordered it yet, make sure to include it on your order notes at your Cart page. If you already ordered it, please use the Site Bot to request to ship it early.

How are orders packaged?

We try to lessen our plastic usage. Orders that are bulky or are 2+ in quantity are boxed and wrapped in honeycomb. You may watch how we wrap things up on our TikTok page.

Payment Information

What payment methods are accepted?

GCash is our most recommended payment method as the process is automatic. We also cater PayPal, PayMaya, BPI Direct Debit, Mastercard, Visa, 7-11, Cebuana Lhuillier, MLhuillier, Palawan Express, BDO Bank Transfer, and Coins.ph. Downpayment method is supported via BillEase. However, you need to have a verified account from them first. Cash-on-delivery is available for on-hand orders only via GoGo Xpress.

Do I need to send my payment receipt?

ONLY for payments made via Palawan Express, BDO Bank Transfer, and 7-11 but this one is not mandatory. The payment will reflect to your account from 3-5 business days.

How long are refunds gonna take?

GCash and PayPal refunds are automatic upon cancellation. BDO, PayMaya, 7/11, and Palawan Express are manually refunded and you will be emailed for instructions upon cancellation. Credit/Debit/BPI refunds take 3-5 business days for this to reflect.

How do I place an order?

Just add books to your cart and checkout.

Can I order more than one copy?

To avoid hoarding, no. Even as a gift, nope.

The book that I want is not here?

We are not catering special requests at the moment. Please check our Discord Server for updates on the latest books added to the site if you are looking into staying updated to our database.

How to cancel or add books to my order?

You could cancel your order yourself by navigating to your order page if it's within 10 days. For orders made from June 1 onwards, cancellations are not allowed regardless of the reason after 10 days of placing it.

Do I need an account to place an order?

Yes. Additionally, please include your Barangay on your shipping address so the parcel will be delivered to you without hassle.

How do I track my order?

Once the order is booked for courier pick-up, an e-mail and/or text message will be sent to you with your tracking number.

What are "Bonbons"?

These are points gathered from your successful orders and other achievements, mainly gained via Discord. You could navigate it via the crown icon on the lower left.

Where can I easily contact the store?

Please use the site bot on the lower right or via Facebook Messenger (properly) so your inquiry will be directed to the proper team. All urgent inquiries should be emailed instead, however, questions already answered here will not be entertained.
